We are mostly running Hikvision DS-2CD2542FWD-IS and DS-2CD2555FWD-IS model cameras, both of which are having this issue. They both look like compression issues, but I am having a difficult time testing since we have such low volume at our office due to COVID-19 (basically nobody is allowed in) and all of my sample footage is from unauthorized entry. Average Network usage is ~100MB/s received but about every 10 minutes it spikes to 3.5GB/s with no real explanation.įrom what I can tell, after we upgraded the Surveillance Station to 8.2.7-6222 all of our cameras have ghosting/dropped frame issues whenever motion is recorded. Resource Monitor is reporting very low Network, Disk, Volume, Memory, and CPU usage. From what I can tell we are no where near the write limit of the RAID array, and our network seems to be able to handle the traffic. I have been having trouble with our Synology RS3617xs+ with 6 x WD Purple 12TB HDD in RAID 10 with about 50 cameras at about 80% storage capacity. ![]()
